About the Founder

Eric Westfall, Founder and Principal Consultant at 3Datum Metrology, is a nationally recognized expert in coordinate metrology, quality systems, and advanced CMM programming. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in aerospace and space manufacturing, Eric has served in senior and leadership roles at industry pioneers including Air Electro, RTC Aerospace, Virgin Hyperloop, and Maxar Robotics.

A certified PC-DMIS Advanced Programmer and Instructor through Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Eric brings a rare blend of technical depth and teaching expertise to every engagement. He is also certified in CATIA V5 Part Design, ASME Y14.5 GD&T, and NASA Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control, underscoring his mastery of dimensional management and precision engineering disciplines.
